The Ship Hotel is one of many traditional style Wirral pubs within the area.  On Parkgate Promenade we are one of 4 Wirral pubs with the Ship centrally located.  Overlooking the Dee Estuary and to the stunning views of the welsh mountains, the Ship offers the perfect location for some well deserved rest and relaxation.

We have a wide range of award winning cask ales along with a fine selection of lagers and ciders,  combined with a carefully selected menu of world wines and a large choice of refreshing soft drinks.  If you are not sure which beer you might like then just ask one of our team who will be more than happy to offer some advice.  Here on the Wirral pubs are keen to support local breweries and at the Ship we always try to feature a local guest beer.  Our care and attention towards our cask ales has been recognised and has been awarded Cask Marque accreditation, we are also listed in the Good Beer Guide.

Our carefully selected wine list offers some great choices to compliment the delicious flavours of our menu along with some fantastic wines that are simply delectable to drink on their own. We have tried to choose a balanced range of wines as we appreciate that everyone's palate is different and therefore hopefully we have a wine to suit every taste.

MALT WHISKIES

SEASON COMFORTS

Open fire at The Ship Hotel WirralOur welcoming open fire in the winter is just too irresistible not to take advantage of!  Just sitting back, relaxing and taking in the atmosphere is where many a friend of the Ship have lost many an hour.  Similarly in the summer months when the British weather chooses to grace us with its beautiful sunshine, there is nothing more tranquil than sitting out on our heated patio watching the world go by. 

WIFI

We have FREE WIFI available in our lounge bar to all customers and hotel guests.  Just ask at the bar and they will give you the code to access the internet.

AFTERNOON TEA & CAKES

Afternoon teas and coffees are available daily alongside our selection of homemade teacakes and scones.

QUIZ NIGHT

Every Wednesday evening we have our popular quiz night with Helen Beck.  Starting from 9pm. (teams of up to 4 people = £1 entry(per team), over 4 people = £2 entry (per team)). CASH prizes to be won.  The cash jackpot will roll over each week if not won.

Charity support at The Ship HotelDuring British Sausage Week in November we donated 50p from every bangers and mash purchased to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.  We are proud to say that we raised £50 for chairty during the week.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of those who attended our coffee morning in October in support of Macmillan's 'Worlds Largest Coffee Morning'.  It was a huge success with a host of delicious cakes, biscuits, cupcakes and treats.  We raised a fantastic £205.00 for charity so once again thank you if you came along and supported us.
