Chester is also only 10 miles away with its stunning architecture, Roman history, the River Dee, the spectacular Chester Racecourse, one of the finest Zoos in the UK and excellent shopping in the city centre and at the Cheshire Oaks Shopping and Leisure park.
PARKGATE ATTRACTIONS
Parkgate itself is a small pictureque village that sits right on the coast of the Wirral Peninsula overlooking the stunning hills of North Wales across the estuary. It has a small selection of shops on the prom along with a close selection of pubs, bars and restaurants and not to mention its famous ice-cream shop next door to the Hotel! It is also the perfect retreat as Neston is only 5 minutes (by car) away which has all necessary amenities if you need them.

The Ship is the ideal location to view some of our spectacular wildlife that live and visit the Dee Estuary. Parkgate attracts many visitors due to the extensive variety of birds that it attracts.
