How to find us
From M53: Exit the M53 at junction 4 and take the exit signposted Clatterbridge(B5136). Within a few hundred yards you will encounter a roundabout, take the first exit, signposted Thornton Hough. Proceed for about half a mile and you will encounter another roundabout at which you need to take the third exit again sign posted Thornton Hough(B5136). Proceed along this road, through the lovely village of Thornton Hough until you reach the junction with the Chester Highroad (A540) and turn left onto it and then immediately right onto Liverpool Road (B5136), signposted Neston. In Neston town centre, turn down onto the B5135 at Neston cross towards Parkgate. This road leads to The Parade Parkgate where you will find The Ship 50 yards approx on your right.
From Chester/North Wales: Travelling along the Chester Highroad (A540) follow the signs for the B5134 Neston. In Neston town centre, turn down onto the B5135 at Neston cross towards Parkgate. This road leads to The Parade Parkgate where you will find The Ship 50 yards approx on your right.
From Liverpool: Take the Wallasey Tunnel out of Liverpool, which on the Wirral side turns into the M53 and head for exit 4 and then follow the directions above.
From Heswall/West Kirby: Follow Telegraph Road through the centre of Heswall until you reach Gayton roundabout identifiable by the Devon Doorway and the Glegg, two pubs either side of it. Take the 2nd exit onto the Chester Highroad (A540) proceed along here for about half a mile, when you need to turn right into Boathouse Lane opposite a car showroom on your left. Proceed along Boathouse lane and you will find yourself on the Parade in Parkgate and The Ship is a little further along the Parade.

By rail: Liverpool Lime Street is 16 miles away with excellent intercity services. The nearest train station is Neston.
By air: Liverpool John Lennon airport is approximately 20 miles away. Manchester international airport is approximately 40 miles away.
