We’re looking for people who love food and drink, and above all people!

MANAGEMENT

You won’t necessarily need pub management experience but an outgoing personality, and bags of enthusiasm is a must. You’ll have plenty of autonomy so initiative and some experience of people management would be an advantage. You won’t be on your own, you’ll have the support from us as and when its called on. Our people are what drives our success!

KITCHEN

If your talent and passion lies in the kitchen, then no matter what your level of experience, we are always looking for people to join our kitchen teams.  We are always willing to recognise people’s potential and provide as much or as little training as you want.

FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF (bar & waiting-on)

Previous experience is not a must as we offer plenty of training, but if you’ve been front of house before that’s definitely a bonus.  An outgoing personality is a must and great people skills are essential to look after each and every customer. With an eye for detail, a will to work hard and go that extra mile you’ll fit right in!

CLEANERS AND HOUSE KEEPERS

We have a team of cleaners and house keepers who keep our high standards of cleanliness and tidiness throughout our pubs and hotels. From time to time we need a replacement or extra member for that team.  Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given.

CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Hotel & Bar Team Member
16-20 hours per week, Including evenings and weekends.
Permanent position.  Exceeds National Min Wage.
Must be age 18+ due to licensing laws. Applicant must have previous bar experience preferably in a supervisory role. Duties will include cash handling, training new staff and all associated bar, cellar and hotel duties as required. Will be responsible for opening and closing of the bar and hotel.
Previous experience is essential.  A personal license is an advantage.

Weekend House Keeping Staff
12 hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3 out of 7 between 7am and 3pm
Permanent position. Exceeds National Min Wage.
The successful applicant must have a very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene and will be working with a team of up to 6 House Keepers. You must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
Applicants must have a keen eye for detail and show a flare for organisational skills when it comes to stock rotation and ordering.
Duties will include all aspects of cleaning the public areas and hotel rooms, corridors and stock rooms. You will report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Previous experience is essential.

Breakfast Cook
16-20 hours Monday-Sunday 4 out of 7 between 6.30am and 10am
Permanent positions. Exceeds National Min Wage.
Must have experience working as a Breakfast Cook. Will be preparing Full English breakfasts to order in a busy 24 bed roomed hotel. Also you will be required to clean dishes and prepare food for lunch service. This job will also involve stock ordering, rotation and all other aspect of kitchen associated work.
Applicants must hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Immediate start available.
