With a 4 day bank holiday approaching, it always fills us with excitement!  Our fingers are crossed for some more amazing sunshine but no matter what the weather brings, we will always be smiling down at the Ship!

Come and join us this weekend for a refreshing drink or why not come and try our delicious homemade menu for a spot of lunch or a lovely evening meal.  We also will be serving our famous roast dinner on Easter Sunday so if you would like to reserve your table then please give us a call on 0151 336 3931 as special occasions can be busy.

Mother’s Day is only a month away so it is time to start thinking about how you are going to show your mum how much you care.  The perfect way is to treat her to a delicious 3-course lunch.  At the Ship we will be offering our special 3-course sunday lunch…the menu is not quite finalised yet, the chefs are currently working on creating the perfect dishes but as soon as they are finalised you will be the first to know!

We hope that you all had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying the festive break.  With many people not returning to work until next week then this is a relaxing 7 days to unwind after the hectic few days of Christmas before the celebrations of New Year’s Eve.  Why not come and take a relaxing walk along Parkgate’s Promenade and then come and see us for a spot of lunch or dinner.

Also if you are looking for a nice relaxing New Years Eve evening with good company, fine dining and a relaxing atmosphere then come and visit us at the Ship.

It’s Christmas week, how exciting!  And at the Ship we are all in full festive spirit… with our newly refurbished bar, our burning open fire and our lovely Christmas trees it really does feel cosy and “Christmassy” down in Parkgate.  Why not pop down for a drink this week or a bite to eat from our NEW Winter bar menu.  We are also running our festive 3 course menu all week so why not take a look and treat yourself to a night out!

Our newly refurbished bar is now fully open, come along and see for yourself!  We have made some key changes in the bar area to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere where you will always be made to feel most welcome.  Our new delicious homemade menu is now being served for longer during the day and evening with food service continuing till 9pm Monday to Saturday and now extended to 8pm on Sundays:

Monday – Friday 12.00pm – 2.30pm & 6.00pm – 9.00pm

Saturday 12.00pm – 9.00pm

Sunday 12.00pm – 8.00pm (Sunday roasts also available)

It definitely feels like winter is here this week…the winter coats are out and even the hats and gloves! Well why not come and warm your cockles in front of our roaring open fire whilst enjoying something off our delicious homemade menu? Our menu changes daily so there is always something new and exciting to try.

21 Day Aged Matured Welsh Topside of Beef £8.50
Served with homemade Yorkshire pudding

Roasted Welsh Leg of Lamb £8.50
Cooked with rosemary and served with mint sauce

Roasted Pork Loin £7.95
With rosemary served with apple sauce

3 Meat Roast £9.95
(Beef, Pork, Lamb)
A slice each of the above meats served with a Yorkshire pudding and crackling on the top

All our Roasts are served with roast potatoes, new potatoes, carrots, cauliflower cheese, green beans and homemade gravy

Our delicious homemade menu is served daily at both lunchtimes and evenings offering some delicious hearty meals.  Our menu changes daily so there is always something new to try.

We also serve our very popular Sunday roasts from 12pm weekly so make sure you dont miss out this autumn.  Nothing finishes off an autumn Sunday after a good walk along the Promenade like a delicious homemade roast dinner.

Fingers crossed that the sunshine will be shining this weekend!  Bank holidays are always better when the sun is shining!  Why not come and join us at The Ship for a bite to eat from our delicious menu of homemade dishes or try a tipple from behind the bar?  We have got some lovely ales on tap at the moment, and we always make sure our Guest Ales is swapped over regularly.
