Please complete the below details to email our team with any queries.
We pride ourselves on our cask beers and ales to ensure a rich and smooth taste in every pint. We also like to ensure that we serve a cold and fizzy pint of lager and a fresh and vibrant glass of cider. Please find below the lagers and ciders that we serve on a permanent basis along with a list of our favourite breweries and ales that we like to stock.
Peroni draught (5.1%)
Aspalls Draught Cider (5.5%)
Budweiser draught (4.3%)
Pilsner Erquell (4.4%)
Guinness (4.3%)
Becks Vier (4.0%)
Pedigree (4.2%) - This is quite a dark, golden/amber beer with a cream coloured head. Pedigree is brewed in wood, spending time in oak casks. There's nothing obviously oaky about the nose, which has some soft malty notes, just a hint of marzipan and a touch of rice pudding. On the palate it is creamy and quite full-textured, with a luxurious mouthfeel and very silky flavour.
BRIMSTAGE BREWERY
Sandpiper Light Ale (3.4%) - A light ale
Trapper’s Hat (3.8%) - The first brew of this slightly floral, golden coloured ale took the top award at the Camra Wirral Beer Festival
Rhode Island Red (4.0%) - A reddish brown bitter
Scarecrow (4.2%) - Another stunning brew from Brimstage Brewery
Oyster Catcher Stout - (4.4%) - A dark stout
SPITTING FEATHERS BREWERY
Farmhouse Ale (3.6%) - A mid-brown session bitter, made with traditional English malts and hops.
Thirstquencher (3.9%) - A fine light pale beer. Lots of late hop leads to a clean, crisp finish.
Special Ale (4.2%) - A malty, chestnut brown beer.
Solstice (4.1%) - A refreshing, amber beer with a good balance of malt and hop flavours and a slightly spicy finish.
Honey Trap (4.1%) - A pale amber beer brewed using honey from the brewery's own on-site beehives.
Christmas Crackers (5.8%) - A rich ruby, strong ale. Full bodied and fruity with festive flavours of cinnamon and cloves and a smooth finish.
PEERLESS BREWERY BIRKENHEAD
Hilbre Gold (4.5%) - A hoppy golden ale named after the small island at the mouth of the Dee estuary. The smooth crisp flavour of the Maris Otter barley-malt is matched by the fruity, hoppy flavours from a variety of hops to produce a refreshing golden beer.
Storr (4.8%) - A pale and hoppy cask pilsner. Though Continental in style, Storr gains its fresh citrus hop finish and pleasant malt backbone solely from the use of UK-grown lager malt & Sovereign hedgerow hops.
Red Rocks (5.0%) - A strong, ruby ale named after the famous sandstone point in Hoylake on the Wirral. The red colour and rich malt flavours come from the use of caramelised rye, which are balanced with the fruity overtones from 'Bramling Cross' hops.
Dark Arts (4.1%) - A deep, dark and delicious beer. A complex brew with flavours of coffee and chocolate. Light bodied and well-balanced, with a delicious combination of three different malts.
Full Whack (6.0%) - A strong pale ale. The name is derived from the days when sailors from Merseyside would demand full rations. The high level of alcohol is complemented by increased bitterness and the fruity hop finish is derived from a combination of Fuggles and First Gold hops.
HANBY ALES/WEM BREWERY
Pure Gold (3.7%) - This light golden ale is brewed with Styrian Hops, Maris Otter Malt and pure bore-hole water. This beer is perfect for those whose palates prefer a less bitter bitter!
Cascade (4.5%) - A very pale beer, brewed with cascade hops, prodcing a crisp flavour and hoppy finish
Wem Special (4.4%) - A smooth, straw coloured bitter. Full bodied with a well rounded palatte.
Rainbow Chaser (4.3%) - A very pale bitter brewed with pioneer hops. This is the fastest growing beer in our portfolio. A very full bodied large characteristics.
Drawwell Bitter (3.9%) - A medium strenght beer. Brewed using Fuggles and Goldings hops. This beer was first brewed by Hanby ales over 13 years ago.
All Seasons (4.2%) - A very light, hoppy bitter, well balanced and very thirst quenching. Brewed with a fine blend of fuggles and cascade hops. The beer is for a warm evening in the beer garden.
